We come across lot of poor people around us. Many of them are beggars, homeless, street children, rag pickers, drug addicts wandering on the streets and many more. Out of these drug addicts and homeless were to be seen only in the metros. Not anymore now. second rung towns such as Panipat, Ludhiana to Surat and Madurai are host to many of them.
Apart from these, many people from working class are becoming prey to the demon called 'poverty'. And we all are witness to the fact that these Indians do really work very very hard day night and still there is no respite to their agonies, hardships and misery is the order of the day in rural and semi rural areas.
If we sincerely analyse the situation, apart from inflation and other similar reasons, men......yes men themselves are also partly responsible for the hardship they are into.
We shall discuss few reasons which normally drive Indians to the poverty in spite of earning decently. Decently is term used by me here for all people earning sub standard income of Rs 12000 or less in terms of 2011 levels when inflation at official level is hovering at 10%
